One chilly day in downtown Columbus, Maria and Brittany were in search of the perfect yummy treat. The one thing both girls wanted but couldn’t find was a warm and delicious Bavarian pretzel. It was then that the dream for brēzel was born…
After many a Sunday afternoon baking session, they settled on a few unique recipes full of wonderful tasty goodness. Today, Maria and Brittany are running brēzel, a company which specializes in hand-rolled Bavarian-style pretzels – the perfect treat to fill bellies and warm souls.
Maria moved to Columbus from Cleveland in 2004 to finish up her undergrad degree at OSU. She loves playing in the kitchen (and outside in the garden), thumbing through magazines and exploring the world through her camera. Maria lives in Clintonville where you can usually find her walking her pup.
Brittany, a resident of Columbus since 2000, loves to cook, travel and read books (when she has the time). When she's not rolling pretzels, she's usually sitting at her computer working on a design project or she's at a Blue Jackets game. Brittany resides in German Village with her husband and two dogs.
